Paradise....

We headed South to enjoy one of our final summer trips to Lake Powell this last week. Seriously....Paradise!! I am in love with this place! If only we could get rid of the giant wind storms that frequent the Lake! :) Can't think of a better way to finish off our summer!

1st Day of School...

Summer is gone and now it is back to school! Jamyn is going to 2nd grade and Whitney is going to Kindergarten both at Discovery Elementary School. They are both so excited and looking forward to the new year!! I can't believe that J will be a 2nd grader and my little Whit will be gone every day! I am sure going to miss them! And then there is Jace...Preschool??! My little man is already going to preschool? It is so crazy to me, but how cute is he!! He loves to get his new school clothes on, grab his "coolest backback ever" and run out the door. No looking back! :( He is going to Lots of Love Preschool with Miss Di and Miss Kristi! I love them so much and Jace does too! And me!!! What am I going to do two days a week with only the babies at home for a few hours? WOW! ;)

The coolest Mom ever.....

Bear Lake

So come August I don't see much of Nathan because of Grain Harvest, but this year I was so going to go to Bear Lake with or without him! The kids and I loaded up the motorhome, and the boat and hit the road to Bear Lake...without Nathan! Don't get me wrong I did want him to come, but now I know I can go anywhere I want! :) He did end up being able to come for the last day so that was nice! We had a wonderful time with our great friends! Minus the crappy cold weather and GIANT waves! It was a wonderful trip! Always good to make great memories!

Krew and Kynzi are 17 months....What?!?

My babies are turning into little toddlers...where has the time gone? They are so much fun and bring such joy to my life every second of the day!! Krew is finally starting to walk around, it takes a little help to get him going but he is practially there. So cute! He is such a joy, such a beautiful little boy and his smile lights up my life! My sweet little Kynzi has finally started to be a lover, she is very generous with her kisses lately! To cute!! She is a little mamas girl, and I kinda love it! She is still a little sassy, but that makes the total cuteness complete! They have had such a fun summer...they love the water, love the boat, love to crawl around on the grass, love to swing, love to go for walks in the stroller and wagon, love the dirt, love the mud even more, love watermelon, and most recently...love corn on the cob as long as they get to eat it all by themselves! :) Oh the love...Can't get enough!! Year and a half...here we come!!

Happy 30th Birthday Nathan!

Nathan refused to admit that he was turning 30!! Yes 30!! :) He told me not to even tell the kids it was his birthday, like I would do that! Instead....we threw him a surprise party!! We invited all of our family and friends and had a great BBQ! It was nice, and I even pulled off the surprise! So honey, I may still be older than you, but you are 30 now whether you like it or not! :) Happy Birthday babe!

Road Trip

We loaded up everyone in the motorhome and headed out of town. We drove to Jackson and had a nice lunch and walked around the town. The kids had a blast! Then we headed to Grand Teton National Park stopping at Jenny Lake. I have never been to that lake, it was so beautiful! It is right at the base of the Tetons and just majestic! We drove a while longer and ended up at Jackson Lake, where we camped for the night. We had a fire, roasted some marshmellows, and enjoyed each others company! We even had a deer join us around the fire, he snuck up on me a bit and scared me a little! The kids thought it was funny! The next morning we headed to Yellowstone, stopping by the lake for a picnic with some elk this time....about 5 feet away! To close for me. On to Old Faithful to watch it go off and go for a walk. Also to see the one and only Buffalo that we would see. (Strange trip not seeing more.) Then traveled the rest of the way home. It was a nice weekend, kinda fun to just pack up and go whenever we want. Loving the motorhome!! :)
