Memorial Day at Teton Village

We decided to take the kids and go for a drive and ended up at Teton Village Resort. It was a beautiful day, but it was still freezing cold there. We rode the tram to the top of the tallest mountain, it was amazing. Enjoyed some hot chocolate at the top, tried to snap a few pictures, then headed back down. Then we went to our favorite restraunt in Jackson Hole, then back home. What a fun day with the family!

Ten Years!

I can't even believe that we have been married ten years! Time sure flies, but then I think of everything that we have been through, both good and bad, and I can't believe it all! We have been so blessed, and I truely am greatful for everything that we have been through, because I know that it has made us the people that we are today! The longer that we are together I more clearly see that we are exactly right for each other. I am so happy to share my life with Nathan and I am so greatful that I know my family will be together forever! I have a heart full of reasons to appreciate my life and my marriage! We were talking stats over the past ten years and it really is crazy... we survived getting lost in the middle of winter and walking miles and miles after our snowmaching ran out of gas, and had to spend the night in an old shack. (Nathan still swears that we knew exactly where we were!) Sleepless nights waiting for him to come home from snowmachining or biking, knowing not to worry until the next day, and he has always come home! (I still worry!) Building our own buisness, which has been such a blessing to us! Many Family tragedies and celebrations. Some of the worst times of my life, yet many of the best. 151 weeks of pregnancy, (That is almost three full years, ya know) four labor and deliveries (note, the epidural didn't work with the twins), Five of the most beautiful babies on the planet! About 48 Months of nursing a baby or two! (That is four years) So out of ten, we have had three years with out a rollercoaster of emotions going on! Countless sleepless nights. With the Twins Nathan was my rock, he was up right there with me helping me through the night! Spending much time being a "single" mom while Nathan was out of the road providing for our family. So hard, but I love the fact that no matter what I know he will always do what he has to for our family! He is seriously the hardest working person that I know! That is just a glimpse, yet here we are. We have come so far and have worked so hard to be where we are now! We really wanted to do something amazing, but I had some things come up with me that didn't allow us to do much this year, but Nathans love, compassion, and support for me was enough. I did get a huge beautiful boquet of flowers, and I love flowers! I am looking forward to the next chapter in our lives and I am so greatful that I get to spend it with this wonderful man and beautiful family! Loves!

We Miss You Anthony!

This week is a very emotional week for our family. Nathan's younger Brother Anthony would have been 23 years old today, but eight years ago, on Memorial Day, May 27, 2002 he was tragically killed in a snowmachining accident. Anthony was an amazing young man with a heart of gold! One thing that I really remember, is when we would go anywhere, if Anthony was there, he would run and open the car door for me before I would get out. Something silly, but I always noticed and thought how sweet he was! Each year on his Birthday we go and let balloons "go to heaven" at his grave. So in the same week that we go to the cemetary to celebrate his birthday, we also remember the day that we lost him. I am sure he is doing amazing work for our Father in Heaven though!

Happy 4th Birthday Jace!!

Jace Nathan Lott was born May 22, 2006 and weight 7lbs even. My biggest baby! He was so perfect and everything that I ever imagined in a son! Jace was the best baby, and has made an impression in my life every day since then! Jace is ALL boy! He is a totally sweetheart, yet a totally little you know what! :) Jace loves Spongebob, loves to play the WII, loves to play outside any chance he gets, and loves to ride his bike, which he can now do with no training wheels, but still cant touch the ground! Jace loves to go truckin with his Dad and looks up to him so much! He is an awesome big brother and he is even better at teasing his brother and sisters!
This year all he wanted was a Lighting McQueen and Mater cake, took me off guard since I only expected to hear Spongebob. Change is good! :) We had a party with all of his family and he had so much fun with all of his friends and cousins! It was a great day, except for the snow!! Yes it snowed!! We took him to his very favorite place for dinner. All in all, Jace thought it was great and being four ROCKS!
Happy 4th Birthday to my little man! I love you so much buddy!

Dance, Dance, Dance!!

The Girls had a great time this year in dance. They learned a lot and I am so proud of them! They had their year end performance and did so great! Aren't they beautiful?? :)

Lots O Love Preschool Graduation

I can't believe that Jace just finished his 1st year of preschool! It amazes me how fast time goes by! He had the greatest year at preschool, and he loves Miss Di and Miss Kristi so very much! These two are amazing ladies, and I am so greatful that they have touched my childrens lives! Graduation was super cute, and all of the kids did an amazing job!

Rachels Challenge

Discovery Elementary parcipated in Rachels Challenge this year. The story of a beautiful young girl who spent her life being kind and reaching out to others. Sadly Rachel died at a young age, but her family has carried out her legacy of kindness. The school had an assembly to celebrate this challenge. The students made a chain, and on each loop they wrote an act of kindness that was done in our school. They had over 5000 links which lined the halls of the school. It was pretty amazing to see all of the students come together to celebrate such a wonderful thing. After the assembly a lady and a student from Whitney's class approached me, and shared a kindness story with me...As the kindergarden class prepared for their field trip to the zoo they had to collect $2.25 from each child to be able to go. Whitney mentioned that this little girl had been gone and she was worried because she hadn't brought her money yet. I just said I'm sure it will be taken care of and didn't really worry about it. Well the morning of the field trip Whitney took $2.25 from her piggy bank and gave it to the girl to make sure that she could go to the zoo, which I knew nothing about until the lady came up to us and gave us $2.25. She told me the story about what Whitney had done for this little girl, and tears came to my eyes. I am so proud of the sweet little spirt Whitney has, and she is always thinking of others first. That to me is an amazing example of kindness.
