Max June 2003 to October 25, 2010

Our Dog Max passed away yesterday. He was only seven, but his life was cut short. We got Max the summer that we moved into our house, so he really has been part of our kids entire childhood thus far.  It is always so sad to lose an animal, especially for the little ones who just don't quite undersand.  Well, that is what I thought until this happend to our family.  When I told all the kids, they were just heartbroken, but sweet Jace took it especailly hard, he cried off and on for a few hours.  I decided to lay by him in his bed to try to get him to sleep, he rolled over hugged me and said, "Mom, I am so sad that Max died." I replied, I know buddy, me too"  He continued, "I know he will be okay, because he is with Grandma Louise now in heaven, and I bet she always wanted a dog just like Max. But I really am sad Mom"  All I could do was squeeze him tight, he left me speechless. Funny how a four year old can put things in perspective.  I hope you are loving life with Grandma Louise Max!

New Buisness Oppertunity

My Sister In Law approached me with an awesome buisness oppertunity, which has turned out amazing for me!  All you do is Pre Pay for a WalMart/Sams Club gift card and get two people to do the same thing.  Sounds easy, Right? Well, It is!!  When that happens, you recieve your gift card for $200 plus an extra check for $300.  I know, to good to be true...that is what I thought, but only three weeks later, I have made enough money to not spend one penny out of my pocket on groceries or gas this month (remember, I have a family of 8) that is huge!  So, I am loving this and working it.  Why not, who doesn't enjoy a little (or a lot) of extra money!  If you are interested leave me a comment and I will be in touch!  NO Kidding, this has been completly Amazing!! :)

Yellowstone

Every year when Harvest wraps up we head to our favorite hotel in West Yellowstone, the kids love it, because it has the best pool with a waterslide. Most years when we go in October it is freezing cold and always snowing. Well, this year was different! It was 75 degrees and so beautiful! We went through Yellowstone, and just enjoyed the beautiful fall weekend in the mountains!

Crazy Hair Day!

Jace...

Jace had a little procedure at the surgical center, this is just after he came out of the anesthesia.   He was totally cracking me up, such a trooper!

My son LOVES "Hookers"!!

Yes, you heard that right!  Jace loves hookers, he takes them everywhere with him,  He likes small ones, large ones, long ones, stretchy ones, white ones, black ones, when we go on vacation he packs them up and brings them with us.  He even had to sleep with one the other night.  Grandpa Kevin brought him over a new hooker and Jace was so excited, he said his Grandpa Kevin gave him the coolest hooker ever!  :)
So, for the record...A hooker at my house, is anything that "hooks something up"  a dog leash, a tie down, a bungy cord, the hitch on our car, the ropes that hook our boat to the dock, and yes my sons plays with hookers all day everyday.  He loves to hook things up with his hookers, and likes hookers of any shape and size.
So we are in Lake Powell, with my "Sweet" Brother In Law and his family, and he eggs it on and on, anywhere we would go around people Michael would yell at Jace to make sure he grabbed his hookers.  I have to admit that it is pretty funny to watch peoples faces.  We were in a restraunt, and Jace was so upset because he left is favorite hooker in the car.  :)  I know, to funny, and for sure something that probably will stick in my family, because Krew is starting to try to steal Jace's hookers.  Another little Lott Boy who loves his "hookers!"  Gotta love little boys!

Jamyn and Whitney's Success Story! :)

Camel Visits Local School (click this link, and check this out)

Our School held a Read A Thon, which children set goals of minutes to read and collected pledges, then had to meet that goal. Jamyn and Whitney were so excited about this and took it so seriously. They worked so hard and that hard work paid off. They raised $1000 between the two of them, which 100 % goes to our school! That is so exciting, especially knowing how in need school really are of extra funds! And, it is way awesome because, of course, our school is the greatest school ever! :) We love Discovery Elementary! The girls were rewarded, not only by seeing Principal Marlow having to kiss the huge camel, but they got to ride the camel and be on the local news!
I am so proud of my girls and the goals that they met! They are amazing! :)
