We loaded up everyone in the motorhome and headed out of town. We drove to Jackson and had a nice lunch and walked around the town. The kids had a blast! Then we headed to Grand Teton National Park stopping at Jenny Lake. I have never been to that lake, it was so beautiful! It is right at the base of the Tetons and just majestic! We drove a while longer and ended up at Jackson Lake, where we camped for the night. We had a fire, roasted some marshmellows, and enjoyed each others company! We even had a deer join us around the fire, he snuck up on me a bit and scared me a little! The kids thought it was funny! The next morning we headed to Yellowstone, stopping by the lake for a picnic with some elk this time....about 5 feet away! To close for me. On to Old Faithful to watch it go off and go for a walk. Also to see the one and only Buffalo that we would see. (Strange trip not seeing more.) Then traveled the rest of the way home. It was a nice weekend, kinda fun to just pack up and go whenever we want. Loving the motorhome!! :)
"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will---to your surprise---miss them profoundly."
