Total Slacker!?

Total slacker?  Well...I wouldn't go that far!  Life, as always has been super busy so I have put blogging on the back burner. I tried to do a little catch up tonight.. just a brief summary of the happenings in the past six months.  Everyone is doing well, and just busy with life.  The girls are always busy with the activities that they have going on.  The little ones are growing up so fast!  I can't believe that school is almost over for the year and it is still "winter" here in good ol Idaho! The girls don't want school to end, they love school and their teachers so much!  I can't even believe that Jace will be in Kindergarten and Krew and Kynzi will be going to Pre School.  What am I going to do with myself?  I decided in February that I wanted to better my life and my health so I joined a gym and got a personal trainer.  I have been going with my trainer three days a week and working out six days a week since then. I am loving it!  I feel better than I have felt in years, I feel so good, and I am starting to see results which keeps me motivated!  It has been a commitment and lifestyle change, but I have done it and I plan to be the best person I can be!  Yes, it is one more thing to add to my plate, but I am managing everything that I have to do! Nathan is busy running the business, which has been very busy and successful.  He works really hard but of course he still plays really hard!  We are looking forward to the fun filled summer, we have some vacations planned, and of course looking forward to our second home at Lake Powell!  I honestly would be so happy with some warm sunshine and NO WIND! Life is crazy, but I don't think I would like it any other way!  I am so thankful each day for all of the blessings in my life!

Jamyn and Kynzi had surgery this week.  They had their tonsils and adnoids removed,  Kynzi's for sleep apnea and Jamyn's because she has had strep throat so many times. We decided to do them together.  They have both done so well!  They went into surgery so brave and woke up with no problem at all!  Actually they were very cute! Jamyn was so sweet with Kynz, and Kynz just loved having her big sis there with her!  They have been little buddies all week, eating ice cream, smoothies, and popcicles together and watching TV in bed!  :)

Happy 3rd Birthday Krew and Kynzi!!

I really can't believe that my babies are already three!!  The past three years have flown by!  I remember when I was expecting them time went by so slowly, now that they are here is have gone in a flash!  They are the sweetest babies! I know, they aren't babies anymore, but the fact is they will always be my babies!! :) Krew is such a sweet boy, he lights up my life...he is a total mamas boy, and I love every second of it!!  Kynzi is Miss Sassy, but I love it!  She can for sure hold her own! She is so dang cute and I just love to look at her sweet smile and beautiful blue eyes! Her favorite place to be is in my shadow!  They have taught me so much and I am so thankful I was lucky enough to have them bless my life!! Every second of everyday is exciting at our house, and I know that before I know it they will be all grown up...so for now I just want to cherish every second of these precious little people!  Happy Birthday to the cutest twins on the planet!! Mommy loves you!!

Happy 9th Birthday Jamyn!!

Nine years...I can't believe my sweet little angel is already nine!! I remember thinking how cool it would be to have her on 2-22-02, and I did!!  Since that sweet day My life has been so blessed!!  Jamyn is the sweetest girl I know, she would do anything for anyone, and she is so beautiful inside and out!  Jamyn is an amazing student, she is so smart and enjoys helping others.  She inspires me and I am so so blessed that she came to me! Happy Birthday JRae!!

Whitney started playing Basketball this year and I was able to help coach her team!  I think I had just as much fun as she did!  Whit did so great, she is a natural!!

Happy 7th Birthday Whitney!!

Seven years ago I received the very best Christmas Present Ever!!  My sweet little Whitney Jae was born on December 23, 2003. Since that wonderful day, Whitney has been blessing our lives with her sweet spirit and spunk!  Whit is super smart in school, loves to read, loves to draw, loves to  play sports, dance, and is getting really good at gymnastics!  She brings an amazing light into our home and I thank Heavenly Father every day that I was blessed with such an amazing child!  I can't believe she is seven already! Happy Birthday Sweetheart!  I love you!!

Taking Flight

We had a fun weekend planned to go riding in Moab with some friends, but that fell through because one of them had a death in the family.  So, we decided we still had a babysitter so we needed to do something.  We just hung out together the first night, had a great dinner, went to bed early and slept in.  I know, sounds totally lame right?  Heck no, I can't tell you the last time I slept in without a care in the world. :) Well, the next day wasn't quite as "lame" Nathan made arrangements with a friend of his to take me flying.  FYI...not my favorite thing to do on a big safe airplane, let alone an airplane that is almost as small as my car. (It seemed) Well, I was surprised, and I just climbed into the four seater airplane, and prayed that I would see my kids again. Here I am, so I made it! :) We flew right over our house and the kids were all outside and were waving to us, which was just great.  Then we flew to Driggs and had a wonderful dinner.  Then flew back home, it was dark on the way home, which was beautiful.  So, I guess I would do it again.  Thanks babe for an awesome weekend away.  I'm so lucky!
